Job ID Number: Upon confirming your Booking Request, ChooseYourMan&Van will assign you a Job Number allocated to your Booking.
Booking: acceptance of your Booking Request via choose platform and Driver has been offered and has accepted a booking and We have allocated that booking to that Driver
Transport Services: The services by which our Partners will transport Your goods to your new destination or storage.
Price: The price payable by you to us (on behalf of our service providers) for the transport Services
Minimum Charge: There is a 2 hours minimum charge, any additional time should be charged per half hour.
Extra charges: any extra charged should be paid directly to the driver.
Private / Business User: means a user of the ChooseYourMan&Van Platform that is acting in a business capacity.
Transport Provider means the driver(s)/helper(s) You book via the ChooseYourMan&Van Platform to complete the job.
Stuff/Belongings means the stuff that are meant to be collected and delivered by the Driver(s)/helper(s)
Partner/Partners: transport providers who agree to provide the Transport Services to you in accordance with the terms of the Contract and for whom ChooseYourMan&Van .

5. CANCELLATIONS
Cancelling within 2 hours of your booking being made. You will receive a full refund for the booking. Cancelling after 12 hours of your booking being made, you are liable to pay the full job amount to the driver.

We provide the Choose Your Man and Van Platform which is for Customers to book collection and delivery.

When you make enquiries to book a Job using the ChooseYourMan&Van Platform you will:
Be able to choose the collection/delivery location and additional stops;
Be able to choose the collection time /date.
Be able to choose a delivery day for the goods at your request;
Be able to choose the best drivers and book the job via the ChooseYourMan&Van platform;
Be able to discover the best quotes
Be able to edit/cancel booking
Be able to make online secure payments
Our Promise

12.Goods in transit insurance
Goods in transit insurances are covering up to £10.000.
13.Liability for Loss or Damage
13.1 -ChooseYourMan&Van shall have no liability to you for any loss or damage to any of your goods or premises or any other loss suffered by you arising out of the Contract.
13.2 - Subject to clause 13.3, the Partners/drivers will be liable for any loss or damage to your premises and goods subject to you producing satisfactory evidence that the damage or loss was caused by the Partner and not by you or a third party. Their liability to you is limited as follows:
1.If the Partner/driver damages premises or property other than the goods they are contracted to transport as a result of their negligence or breach of contract, they are only liable for repairing the damaged area.
2.The Partner is not liable for any damage caused to any premises or goods if you ignore ChooseYourMan&Van or the Partner’s advice in relation to the Services.
You must advise us by email or telephone as soon as you become aware of any damage caused to your premises or your goods upon collection, transportation, or delivery and no later than 48 HOURS from the date of delivery.
13.3 Neither ChooseYourMan&Van nor its Partners are liable for:
Damage caused as a result of your actions and/or your breach of these terms.
Perishable items, including but not limited to food and drink.
Damage caused by moths or vermin or any other infestation.
Damage caused by fire, in excess of any insurance cover.
Damage caused to any furniture packed and/or unpacked by you or a third party.
Normal wear and tear.
Goods loaded and/or unloaded against Our or the Partners advice;
Damage to any goods or premises not caused by Us or the Partners.
Damage to goods or premises caused by you or a third party when packing, loading, or unloading them on and/or off Our vehicles or otherwise.
ChooseYourMan&Van Partners do not transport live animals or plants unless agreed and appropriately organised upon booking. ChooseYourMan&Van ’s Partner is not liable for harm caused to live animals or plants transported with or without Our knowledge.
Damage to your electrical goods (unless you can provide evidence that such damage was as a result of the Partner’s negligence);
Loss incurred if any of your goods were already damaged or had an inherent defect.
Damage to the goods if any of the goods are fragile or susceptible to damage, including but not limited to breakage, internal spoilage, leakage, or any malfunction.
Damage to any collections or documentation including but not limited to stamps, coins, gemstones, share certificates, deeds to properties.
Personal items including but not limited to jewellery, handbags, clothes, and hats, unless properly packed and included in the Comprehensive Inventory List.
Business loss whatsoever if you are a Private Customer.
Loss or damage which occurs after the goods have been delivered to you or your representative.
Loss or damage not caused by Us or Our Partners, employees, subcontractors, or agents.
Loss which is not reasonably foreseeable.
14. How We May Use Your Personal Information
We will use the personal information you provide to us:
To introduce Partners to supply the Transport Services to you and to provide the Transport Services expressly stated as being obligations of ChooseYourMan&Van in these Terms.
To process your payment for the Transport services.
We will only give your personal information to other third parties.
15.Congestion Charge/Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ)
1.the Congestion Charge operate between 07:00 and 22:00 seven days a week. If your journey begins or ends in the congestion zone you should pay the driver an extra £15.
2. If the booking starts or finishes in the (ULEZ) Zone and the service provider's vehicle registration is older than 2005, the Central London Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ). The ULEZ Zone is in operation 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year round. The service provider is responsible for payment of the £12.50 ULEZ charge.
16.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
To use our services and the ChooseYourMan&Van Platform, you must comply with these customer terms.
Be at least 18 years old
Provide Us with a correct and up to date contact address and telephone number during removal transit and/or storage of goods.
Keep Your payment information up to date and to provide Us with valid payment details at the time Your Job is booked and at all times until the Job is completed;
Provide accurate information to Us when You book Your Job;
Ensure you have access to Our Platform at all times when using Our services;
Be at the collection address set out in your Job request with the item(s) ready to be loaded onto the driver’s vehicle at least 20 minutes prior to the Driver’s scheduled arrival time;
Take all reasonable steps to ensure that nothing that should be removed is left behind and nothing is taken away in error.
Empty, properly defrost and clean refrigerators and deep freezers. We are not responsible for the contents.
Ensure that all domestic and garden appliances, including but not limited to washing machines, dish washers, hose pipes, petrol lawn mowers are clean and dry and have no residual fluid left in them.
Arrange access for the Driver/helpers at the pickup and drop off locations set out in Your Job.
Ensure after a Fridge or Freezer is delivered and put in its permanent place, we suggest it is left for 24 hours to settle before it is powered back on.
You must arrange for suitable parking arrangements for the Driver to park, load and unload Your Item(s). You must also pay for any parking permits or pay and display tickets the Driver will need to complete Your Job.
Pay for any parking or meter suspension charges incurred by Us in carrying out the work.
Congestion charge Zone: The customer is responsible for paying any additional road fees, this includes congestion charge and parking charges. It is the driver's responsibility to collect any monies from the customer at the end of completion of the job.
Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ): The driver is responsible to pay the ULEZ Charge.
Van Sizes: It is entirely the customer’s responsibility to choose the correct size vehicle.
Parking: It is the customer’s responsibility to reserve parking. If there is no pre-arranged parking and the service provider receives a parking ticket it will be the customer’s responsibility to pay the penalty charge ticket at the end of the job.
Packing: It is the customer’s responsibility to pack everything properly CHOOSEYOURMANANDVAN does not accept responsibility for damage or breakage caused by poor packing.
Dismantling of Furniture: It is the customer’s responsibility to dismantle items prior driver arrival. unless this service has been requested in the brief description box.
17. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU
1.We are only responsible to You for the Platform.
2.We collect fees/payments from you for the Driver, but we are not responsible for:
3. The actions of the Driver during the completion of your job
4. Any delay in performing the Job
-5.Any damage or loss of the Items.
Nothing in these Customer Terms shall limit or exclude our liability to you for matters where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes death or personal injury caused by our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability that may not, under English law, be limited or excluded.
If we fail to comply with these Customer Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Customer Terms.
We are not liable for business losses under these Customer Terms and these Customer Terms are only applicable where You are seeking a Driver for domestic and private transportation.
Although we are not responsible for the completion of Your Job by a Driver and/or any services provided to You by a Driver and or for a breach of contract by the Driver, as a gesture of goodwill we will always try to help. If something goes wrong with Your Job, then We will try to resolve the problem in line with Our Dispute Resolution Policy. You can contact Us via the Platform.
18. Goods not to be transported /submitted for Removal
Potentially dangerous, damaging, or explosive items, including gas bottles, aerosols, paints, firearms, fuels, oils, and ammunition.
Goods likely to encourage vermin or other pests or to cause infestation or contamination.
Any animals, birds, fish, reptiles, or plants.
Goods which require special licence
Gases, hazardous, fuel, dangerous, flammable liquids or illegal goods
Under no circumstances will Prohibited or stolen goods, drugs or pornographic material be moved by us.
19. Services ChooseYourMan&Van do not Provide
The Drivers/Partners will not transport illegal, stolen, or dangerous goods.
Chooseyourmanandvan Partners/drivers will not enter any premises unless properly lit, floored and where safe access is provided.
Chooseyourmanandvan will not do anything to put our drivers/Partners in danger.
The Drivers/ Partners will not transport illegal, stolen, or dangerous goods.
The Drivers/ Partners will not move rubbish and large outdoor pots.
The Drivers/Partners will not transport animals.
The Drivers/partners will not agree to do anything where they do not have the requested qualifications.
20. Equipment
Man, And Van Service providers are advised to carry on their vans at all times a minimum of the following:
Trolley
Straps
Basic tools
Blankets
Ratchet straps.
Bungee cords
21.CUSTOMERS TRAVELING IN THE VAN
This is up to the Driver customers can travel in the van if there is a seat available.
